Hello! My name is Grace Carlino and welcome to my blog!
I am from Memphis TN and I came to the University of Chattanooga to major in Biology. My favorite subject is science and I plan to work in the medical field, specifically as a PA for a Dermatologist. The reason why I chose Chattanooga is because of the beautiful, mountain scenery and the numerous outdoor activities such as white water rafting and hiking. I enjoy the outdoors, but only in the summer time. My two top hobbies are scrap-booking and reading books. A huge thing about me is that I love animals! Ever since I was young, I grew up with a house full of animals. Wild animals hold a special place in my heart, specifically the big wild cats.
Ecology
Ecology is a very wide study that deals with organisms, the environment, and all the relationships that take place between them. It not only effects animals and the environment, it also effects humans too! It is important to understand how we play a role in our surroundings and learn what we can do to have a safe environment. My blogs will illustrate my findings and research of the outside world, and I would like for those who are not in the science community to learn and gain a different perspective of the outside world!
